Stripo is one of the most powerful email template design tools. With Stripo, you get access to hundreds of beautiful email templates and an easy-to-use email template editor as well.
The question is, what plan is best for you?
Depending on how many email templates you want to develop, how many team members you have, and various other factors, one plan is much better for you than the others.
Additionally, this post will point out the key benefits and limitations of the plans.
Read on for a complete explanation of Stripo pricing, and determine which plan is best for you.
1. Plan one: Free
- Cost: $0/month
Stripo’s free plan gives you limited access to the template gallery. You don’t get access to any of the premium template gallery. Nevertheless, there are still numerous templates available for free.
Surprisingly, you get most email template design features with the free plan. The only design features you don’t get with the free plan is custom fonts and the design kit generator. The design kit generator basically creates a default set of fonts and email color schemes for your emails based on an existing email you designed.
You can store up to 10 emails at a time with a 30 day revision history storage.
You can only have one user on the platform (yourself) with the free version. With paid plans you can add other members of your team to the platform with their own separate login.
With the free version you get four exports per month meaning that you can download email files four times per month. However, you can’t send email templates to email service providers like Mailchimp, or Constant Contact. You also get 5 email sending tests per day.
Just basic email and phone support comes with he free version.
2. Plan two: Basic
- Cost: $15/month with monthly billing (save $30/year with annual billing)
The basic plan is best for an active email design freelancer.
With the basic plan you get unlimited access to the email template gallery. You can access the free templates as well as the hundreds of beautifully designed premium templates. The premium templates are arguably better designed than the free ones.
Additionally, you get the brand kit generator, which makes it easier to create new tempaltes based on the design specifications of previous emails you’ve created. You also get access to custom fonts.
You can also store 50 templates per month and get a version history of 60 days. Being able to store 50 templates per month is perfect for most freelancers who design emails quite regularly.
With the basic plan you still only get access to one user for the account. However, you also get a link to the email web version of each email.
You get 50 exports per month and 50 email send tests every day. This is perfect for most email designers. Unless you are an active freelancer, you shouldn’t worry about hitting these limits.
As far as support goes, in addition to phone and email support, you also get chat support, which is preferable for most.
3. Plan three: Medium
- Cost: $45/month with monthly billing (save $90/year with annual billing)
The Medium plan is best for a small team such as an email design agency. Alternatively, this could be a good plan for a large agency that has an email design division of the company.
With the Medium plan, you get all the same email design features as the Basic plan. The only difference is you get 200,000 countdown timer email opens per month compared to the 100,000 you get with the basic plan. Countdown timers are basically graphic countdown timers that show users when a sale will expire in real-time.
This plan gives three users the ability to user the platform to collaborate on projects. You can also generate preview links of emails so that you can share your designs with other teammates for review.
With this plan, you get 300 email exports per month and 100 email tests per day. This is likely more than enough for most active small teams.
As far as support goes you get the same email, chat and phone support options as the basic plan.
4. Plan four: Pro
- Cost: $95/month with monthly billing (save $190/year with annual billing)
The pro plan gives you the ability to add 10 users to the platform. This plan is perfect for a large design team that creates hundreds of email templates every month.
The pro version gives you all the design features, as does the Medium plan. The only difference is that it gives you 500,000 countdown timer opens monthly instead of 200,000.
The pro plan also gives you unlimited projects, which as essentially like folders for collections of templates. An agency could have a project for every client it serves for instance. You can also store unlimited email templates and save revisions for up to 365 days.
You can also export unlimited emails and send 300 email tests per day. Similar to the other paid plans, you also get the option to test to see how emails render on certain email clients like Outlook or Gmail.
You essentially get the same support options as the other paid plans. The only key difference is you get “corporate workshops” which means a representative from Stripo can hop on a call and onboard your team onto the platform.
Stripo pricing compared to competitors
Taking into account the quality of Stripo’s templates and how robust the email editor is, Stripo gives you great value for its cost.
Compared to other email editors, Stripo is comparably priced and even perhaps slightly more affordable.
Take Stripo’s main competitor, Beefree. Beefree is a very similar email template design platform. While Stripo’s paid plans start at $15/month, Beefree’s start at $25/month. To be fair, Beefree and Stripo’s paid plans aren’t perfectly comparable. But nevertheless, Beefree is slightly more expensive. To see a full Stripo vs Beefree analysis, see this post.
Other competitors such as Unlayer, similarly start at $15/month.
Final words
Still on the fence about Stripo? Consider giving the free version a go. For small projects, you might not even need to upgrade to a paid version at all.
And if you’re a digital marketing design agency that plans to design email templates regularly, the paid version will probably pay for itself in a matter of days.
